EmergeCare was founded by Michael L. Gorman II, a U.S. Army veteran and medical logistics specialist, who witnessed a severe motorcycle accident on May 16, 2024, just after graduating with a degree in Surgical Technology.

Bystanders rushed to help, using whatever they had — shirts, belts, and towels — while Michael had a small medical kit in his car and used it to provide critical aid until EMS arrived.

That moment revealed a vital truth: most people want to help, but few have the right tools. Inspired by this, Michael asked himself — “If not now, then when?” That question drives EmergeCare’s mission to deliver trauma-ready first aid kits and veteran-led, life-saving service that empowers anyone to act when seconds count.
